A word from our founder
Edwin Adorno
How Kainos Collective began, and the vision it was born out of.
This wasn’t something I sat down and strategically planned. It wasn’t a brand idea, a marketing concept, or a personal ambition. Honestly, this was birthed through prayer, obedience, and a desire to follow wherever God leads.
I am also incredibly honored to have some amazing people walking alongside me in this vision. Men and women who love Jesus, carry servant hearts, and share the same passion for authentic worship, community, creativity, and seeing lives transformed by the presence of God. This vision was never meant to be built alone, and I am grateful for every person God has brought together for such a time as this.
The foundation of this vision comes from Romans 12:2:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
The word “transformed” in this passage is where God began speaking to my heart. As I studied it deeper, I discovered the Greek words Metamorphoō (to be transformed) and Kainos (made new). From that moment, the vision started to come alive.
God never called us to simply fit in with the world. He called us to be transformed by His presence. To think differently. To live differently. To love differently. To become new creations through Christ.
The word Kainos means “made new.” Not simply repaired, improved, or fixed, but completely transformed. A renewed heart. A renewed mind. A new creation in Christ.
That meaning resonates deeply with me because it reflects the story of every believer. God takes broken things and makes them beautiful. He takes what was lost and gives it purpose. He takes ordinary people and transforms them through His grace.
Kainos Collective is more than a band. More than music. More than a logo.
It is a vision.
- A vision of people united under one purpose: Jesus.
- A vision where worship extends beyond the four walls of a church building and reaches streets, homes, coffee shops, parks, communities, and wherever God opens a door.
- A vision where creativity serves the Kingdom.
- A vision where presence is valued over performance.
- A vision where authentic worship, genuine community, prayer, discipleship, and transformation remain at the center.
Every part of our logo carries meaning.
- The light shining through the doorway represents God calling people out of darkness and into His marvelous light. It symbolizes invitation, encounter, and the open door that Jesus extends to all who seek Him.
- The cross at the center reminds us that Christ is, and always will be, the foundation of everything we do. Without Him, none of this matters.
- The connected “KC” represents unity, family, and a collective of believers moving together with one mission and one heart.
- The circle surrounding the logo symbolizes eternity, wholeness, and the body of Christ united together.
Our prayer is simple.
That every sound, every gathering, every conversation, every act of service, and every encounter would point people back to Jesus.
- May hearts be renewed.
- May minds be transformed.
- May lives be changed.
- May people encounter His presence.
- And may Christ always receive the glory.
This is only the beginning.
Welcome to Kainos Collective.
